Not Classical Music, But…

…watching the singers perform this incredible song in all the different languages reminded me of how emotion and vocal expression (very important in operas) transcends any foreign words. Which is why, I think, operas performed in their original tongue are still popular in English-speaking countries. (Not entirely by accident is the fact that today is the 50th anniversary of “It’s a Small World.”)

  1. I enjoyed watching the multi-language, it was so interesting knowing that this movie and song, really, connected people in such a way, and the emotion can carry through all of these languages.
