Puccini’s Chronicles JULY

Good evening! After doing a little intel, I’ve decided that July’s theme will be…HOLLYWOOD. We’ll be bringing you articles and topics all about music-heavy films, movie musicals, composer biopics, and more crossover moments than you can shake a baton at. So just to break the ice, I’m going to pose a question for all of you. What is your favorite appearance of a classical music piece in a movie or on television? Was it when Natalie Portman danced the Swan Queen in Black Swan? How about when Cher and Nicolas Cage attended La boheme in Moonstruck? Maybe something special happened for you when you saw Andrew de Leon sing “O mio babbino caro” on America’s Got Talent. All these examples, and many more, are fair game!
