ALONE IN THE WOODS

First performed at Feinstein’s/54 Below in February 2017, Alone in the Woods is a one-woman concert version of Sondheim and Lapine’s Into the Woods. The story is driven by the lens of someone with Asperger’s syndrome. Amanda DeLalla stands by her work, now in rewrites, and plans to take a revised version on tour in the future. Accolades for the original production:

“[DeLalla] sang beautifully and looked gorgeous. We loved it.” -Elizabeth Santiso, CEO of Music for Autism

“So wonderful. I was crying.” -Marisa Tornello, Concert Operations Associate at Distinguished Concerts International

“A personal, direct, and fun experimental performance.” -Elliott Masie, CEO of MASIE Productions (Kinky Boots, Allegiance)
